Well, I was referring to 4v valve covers, but they're probably the same material.

Yours look pretty good. Sand and spray?

Get them powder coated. Just make sure they don't damage the signature plate.

Painted some other stuff too :headbang: I do not, in any way shape or form, under any circumstances, reccomend removing 4v cam covers with the engine in the car. Ridiculous.

Awesome.

I heard about taking off the valve covers and it being a tight fit... thats why when i put the heads on my GT I'll be pulling the motor.

you have to pull the motor to get 2v heads off and i wouldnt "pull it" i would drop it out the bottom with the k member and trans still attached...

Never thought of that... I assume that is easier? What if you are in your two-car garage and dont have access to one of those fancy lifts?

would you just have to jack the body up while the K-member stayed on the ground?

Switch... I think you shouldve gone red, unless you put a little more blue in the engine bay. JMO.
