VHT Nightshades

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Nightshades tail light tint stuff? I believe I'm gonna tint my tails and also maybe the red marker lights behind the rear tires. This stuff pretty easily applied and is there any prep work other than cleaning? I see it says 2-3 coats should be sufficient. Would you recommend using a clear coat and which VHT clear should I purchase. They have clear for brakes, engines, etc and does it matter which one I would need? Thanks for the help guys.

my buddy used it on his ta and it made a nice smoke effect. Looks really good too. i wanna get some for my cobra and xb

really easy to do. just clean it reall good and spray, if you dont clear it it will have a matte black finish.

quite a few ppl have done it on here try a search for "tail light tint" and see what comes up, clear ontop makes it look a lot better just take your time and do good light coats.
