Video Making Program

what programs do you guys use to make videos? I want to start trying to make some about my cars, perhaps car shows and stuff, but I've never tried it before. What do you guys recommend that is pretty good but also fairly user friendly cause I don't feel like buying a 1000 page manual to learn what the hell i'm doing lol

I use Pinnacle Studio, it is pretty user friendly, but there are cheaper.

Windows Movie Maker is great to learn on. It's easy enough to understand and you can do some neat things with it too. Just don't go too crazy on transitions. People tend to over do them when they get started.

Now I use Pinnacle Studio.

my friend has Vegas but idk how good it is. ive heard its good but idk for sure.

I use Magix Movie Edit Pro 11. It's extremely easy to use, cheap ($50 at Best Buy) and can make some great videos. I've made three with it so far, they're all on my myspace page, check em out!

I cant use movie maker because my camera movies are all in quicktime format. Does anyone know how to change the format?

there are a few programs out there that will do it... just do like a google search for them or a search on downloads.com (least thats what the site use to be called.. dunno if it still is)
