Reason for everything.

1. Don't have the money for a powerpipe, they suck cause there's no room for them and the filter gets dirty in 1000 miles.
This setup allows me to run with no restriction, huge airflow right to the filter and the filter doesn't get dirty.

2. I went from procharger to vortech and I didn't have the money to upgrade to a t trim nor was it necessary considering I have a stock lower end and can throw more than enough boost at it to throw a rod through the hood with the s trim.

Why would I buy a t trim when I can only run like 11 pounds of boost and that blower shines when running a lot of boost...I believe its actually less efficient than an s trim at lower boost levels.

i didnt mean to hurt ur feelings or make u feel like u had to explain i was just kidding... if i wasnt i would not have put the lol at the end of my statement. the only thing i was serious about is the fact i dont really like the look of just a filter there. but its a personal preference of mine and thats it. BTW hope u like it i know i regret buying my vortech.

Well the auto is a tard on the dyno so the the converter doesnt like to stay locked

it made 374 rwhp @ 5600 rpm the first time before the converter unlocked...the line was steady pulling up so it looked liked it was gonna do about 400 rwhp which is right on par with the stalled auto.

The best run was 384 rwhp but he couldnt hold third so he was running through the gears like it was on the street and the graph line was all over the place so I dont know how accurate that really was.

Auto's fail on the dyno lol

I maxed out my 42 lb injectors and 255 walbro pump at 5K :dontknow: wtf

WORD!! Looks like you got a little tuning ahead of you though. With injectors and a boostapump the car will make some serious power. You ready for a new block? hehe

Those numbers are actually really good. It's the Converter that's making it seem less. (But you know that) That's on par with a manual making 450rw. The injectors and fuel confirm that. If my car when I was at 450 and your car at 374 raced, you'd be faster every time.

Are you ever going to switch to manual? (Not that I think you should one way or another)

Thank you, I know this...I try explaining this to people but they dont get it...

autos dont make impressive dyno numbers but Im sure I could beat 450 rwhp manual cars everyday

I talked to a guy today putting down about 500 rwhp through a 5 speed running 11.5s which is about what I am expecting to run

Im talking to Fred about swapping for his tko500 actually...may happen in the spring

Umm 11 psi with both blowers...procharger only made like 367 so this one made 384 which is 17 more rwhp atleast with the same boost

very nice dude, i liked the vid. i thought there was a way to lock your auto in gear through the computer, i've never seen an auto shifting on the dyno like that, usually they are held in gear via the computer.

Well for the most part when we have tried to lock it in third gear it confuses the computer and does stupid things. That and it was just a quick dyno session to make sure the a/f ratio was decent.

its a long story... but i settled on the t-trim because i wanted boost and ppl said it was a great blower. had a few problems with it that caused the car to be down for like 3 weeks. but for the most part it just feels like it has no balls and i just wish i would have saved a few extra bucks and got a nice turbo.

damn, if 370rwhp through a auto is like 450rwhp through a manual....i really gotta be careful with my new setup haha.

awesome vids justin...sounds/looks/performs right on par if not better than what you probably expected.
