dude that looks pretty **** fast.

Yea...its kinda crazy cause you would never expect it to be that fast for the power it puts down...but the stalled auto is very deceiving....and the dyno I use seems to be on the lower side of things as far as dynoes go.

05 gts dyno 260-265 there and ive seen stock ones read 280-285 on other dynos so who knows.

If you go by the fact that my car has a 03 pi engine with full bolt ons, long tubes, o/r mid pipe and 11 psi intercooled you can see why it pulls the way it does.

that pull was with all my books for school, misc. shit, nearly a full tank of gas, and 2 12 inch subs in the trunk

I wouldnt lie to you guys...my car MOVES out.

My buddy runs 11.40's on slicks with 422rwhp in his T56 04 cobra full weight. So yeah I think your predictions are pretty much dead on. And yeah, a built auto is deadly. I miss my old Gen 1 Lightning!

Nice job Justin!! we need to meet up and get some runs in we are just about the same as far as power goes.
i am curious to see the how much the stalled auto helps you. i think we would be a close race.

****, if 370rwhp through a auto is like 450rwhp through a manual....i really gotta be careful with my new setup haha.

awesome vids justin...sounds/looks/performs right on par if not better than what you probably expected.

were talking about 1/4 mile times...as far as power I would think 370 rwhp through an auto would be comparable to 400 +- 5 rwhp

I made 385 rwhp which is probably comparable to 410-420 rwhp through a manual car I would think.

Dyno numbers are stupid...every dyno reads differant.

my car with an auto with 385 rwhp would most likely run 11.50s all day with a set of slicks, if not a tad faster.

With a 5 speed and an average driver I bet it would be hard to get anywhere near that...probably be lucky to run any better than 12.5 even though i would put down another 30-40 rwhp

theres a complete difference in what your car "should" run and what it actually does run. just keep that in mind. ****, if thats the case mine should run low 11's/high tens then i guess, but theres no way that will happen

Yea, I know...im just going by the fact that ive seen virtually the same car/same stall/power at 375 rwhp run 11.59@ 118

and another huge factor here is that my car is LIGHT...im looking at 3100 lb curb weight so that extra weight savings there really helps big time.

Why do you say your gonna run low 11s high 10s? lol

Arent you running npi heads, pi cams/pi intake and like 12 psi intercooled right?

You cant really go by dyno numbers...I could throw my car on a mustang dyno and make 350 rwhp and at the same time find a ricer dyno that inflates numbers and throw down 420 rwhp.

I dunno, all depends on how I come out of the hole really.

But my estimation considering weight/trans/power I believe I can do 11.50 +-
Heres one guy:
My car made 378 with my old single disc Pi converter and 350 with the converter I am currently running and my best are as posted...

theres another guy with 375 rwhp running 11.59 with a 3800 stall over at modfords.

My point is that similar stalled auto guys with roughly my power/if not less/ and more weight on thier cars are running 11.50ish

I made 385 so a bit more power than these guys AND my car is probably a solid 100-150, maybe even 200 lbs lighter.

I know this may sound like "eracing" but its all backed up with hard data.

If my car can get out of the hole worth a shit it should easily do 11.50s...if not 11.30-11.40.

Nice numbers.

Autos + Dynos = :BangHead:

Yea...I dont really know what was going on.

it said I made 384 rwhp but it only registered like 116 mph.....but he pulled to 6200 which means either his dyno didnt actually register what my car was doing after 116 mph, or it only registered up to 116 mph in third gear when it was locked which would have been approx 5450 rpms.

With 3.73s, 27 inch tire, my car should pull approx. 130 mph @ 6k...so it should have registered something like 134 mph @ 6200
