So after searching for the fate of my mach 1 I reactivated my facebook and did a mass picture download.

Brought back a ton of memories...

Mods: steeds triax, bbk under drives MAC intake, bbk offroad x, flowmaster dumps, 3.5 inch cowl hood, 18inch bullets staggered with 315s, MM control arms and bilsteins with eibach springs, PI intake and Cams.

My 2003 mach 1

The rebuild and engine swap that never went right.

Car had BBK long tubes, catted H, magnaflow cat back, 4.10 gears and jlt intake.

Later installed a b and m shifter and built 4r70w with 3k stall that I never got to run.

Been there. Many times. Still having issues with one, though works (keeps going if continuously pressed). On convertibles though, it’s still inexcusable. I remember once having the top down on my car during a hard freeze (Lovely temp the day before). Vinyl top shrunk, so it wouldn’t close. I had to drive somewhere with the top down which was unplanned. I was all decked out in snow gear, scarf, gloves, hat, all four windows rolled up with the heater blasting. ...still inexcusable though. Convertible code violation. Not allowed to drive top down windows up. So same must be spoken for being parked as well.

But I do have a lovely story of the time I entered my car into a car show with a completely shattered windshield. We had just swapped over the 5.0, and was having mechanical issues a few blocks away. I forgot to close the hood completely and WACK!!!! Still entered in the car show. Won nothing, but at least I got to tell my fun story to everyone.
