Beautiful day so wanted to take some new pics of the stang. Tell me what you like and dont like (besides the headlights) and what you think i should do next. Thought about complete cobra ground kit after i get my heads and cam but dont know would like to stay close to the same color or go black. What you guys think?

It looks great!! I like what you've done, so far! I'm not a fan of your cover of your tails though. You could always lower it.

thanks man, it's got ford racing springs on it right now and I've really not seen much difference even though they promised to lower the from over an inch and the back about 3/4 from what i remember. I think the biggest thing is i don't drive it that much so they haven't relaxed yet.??? :dunno:

my suggestions: stay with the same color,change from taillight covers to actual smoked tail lights, lose the dice in the mirror, get a strut tower brace (it will greatly improve your driving). i like your idea of the cobra parts

car looks pretty good overall. those would be the things i would do if it was my car. good luck on whatever you decide on doing to it.

awesome... I have some 94/95 tails that i can get painted black and tint but i just gotta find the time. Cant get rid of the dice was a christmas present from my lil sis, think it would break her heart... lol know any where i can get a strut tower brace? i did have a stock one but of course will not fit over the new intake... :nonono:

Looks pretty good, definitely lower it. If not the whole car at least find a way to drop the front down.

Suggestions: Lose the tail light covers and smoke the tails (and maybe black tail light bezels), lose the Cobra on the front and back and get some spacers for the rear wheels :thumb:


I agree with Nacho on the strut brace, I've also read it does nothing on SN95s.

I didn't even see the dice at 1st! Also, that's where me and you differ! I simply told my sister flat out as soon as I opened up her Xmas present to my, I was returning it! I guess you do have a better relationship than I have with my spoiled ass sister!

Thanks for all your compliments guys. I'm going to work on a pair of stock taillights and paint the bezel gloss or flat black and tint the lenses.

Actually i got the seats off of a guy for $250 and had to custom make the brackets as APC has now gone out of business. I like the seats though. The serve the purpose and cleaned the inside up a ton!

I think i may look for one anyway just because i like how they look compared to just motor. Plus i'd like to get my car into some local shows this summer and i think it would look more custom that way

i'm really not up to getting rid of the cobra emblems. The plan for my car is to one day be the same as a cobra engine and body alike. So if i were to get rid of them i would just have to put them back on in the future. I'm sorry if it offends you true cobra guys but some of us just cant afford a real cobra but are doing the best we can. :thumb:
