water pump tq specs?

hey guys im fxing to install my new water pump but i cant find tq specs for the bolts anywhere, anyone got some info for me? thanks

Timing Chain Cover Bolts 12-18 ft. lbs.
Water Pump Bolts 15-21 ft. lbs.
Water Pump Pulley-to-Water Pump Bolts/Nuts 15-21 ft. lbs.

awesome thanks man, you wouldnt happen to know the tq specs for the thermostat housing too would ya?

dude just tighten them down your over thinking things you don't need to torque every single bolt

If you want a comprehensive torque spec listing, it's a good idea to get a Chilton's or Haynes manual and use that. Plus they're a great reference tool. When I assembled my motor, I did indeed torque every fastener, but only because I'm super anal like that.

However, x182dan is right, "gutentight" without going overboard is generally sufficient.

lol i dont see tq specs as over thinking things especially when it comes to engine work, not to mention i wont feel comfortable unless i do it to specs, sorry thats the way ive done every engine.

Yea i am waiting on my chiltons to get here, not the first damn store around had one for a mustang, it usually happens that way when you need it right then.

lol that is pretty damn funny, but i did get her all back together and everything is torqued to spec (i finally found a spec sheet for everything) but wanted to say thanks for the help too.
