So for the last couple of months my car has been acting up a little. It almost sounds like it is misfiring. Basically if im in 4th gear or so and my RPMS are anywhere at all and I step on it, I get a hesitation and almost like a small pop pop pop or kinda bump sound. I noticed my A/F gauge acting way way weird. Im not sure if its a plug or something else but I dont know where to look.

I had a very similar problem with my old 94 5.0 I used to have, try cleaning the MAF with some MAF cleaner it worked for me. Also is the engine stock or not? But regardless check your air filter, plugs n wires, fuel filter, and timing. Just a few basic places to start. Hope that helps...

In the summer mine was breaking up at higher rpm's. I gave it a tune up and a new coil and the missfire went away. I'm thinking it was the coil.
