So I noticed when I put my car in neutral and take my foot off the clutch I hear an odd squeaking sound. When I apply even the slightest peddle pressure it stops.... Wtf is making that noise. Ive read about the TOB.... But Im not sure.

Sounds like the TOB. Thats what my 1989 did when it was bad. Make sure your clutch is adjusted properly first then replace the TOB.

Wouldn't that be the pilot bearing? The throw out bearing would make noise with the clutch pressed in, because that is when it has load on it. My car makes the noise the under the same circumstances as your car does, you block it out eventually.....

Could be the pilot bearing....... Or a worn TOB retainer. Seems there are 2 metal anti-rattle clips attaching the TOB to the clutch fork that can create noises also.

So if someone would not have put them clips back in when replacing the tob, it would do that? Because my car had a fresh clutch when I bought it, the guy did it himself so it would make sense....

You probably have a bad TOB and also the clutch fork pivot ball is probably squeeking also.

The Pilot bearing can cause you to have a really bad shutter on decel somewhere around 2,000 rpms. The TOB can make noise when the clutch is free and also slightly pressed in considering how badly worn the TOB is.

You can't really "not" put the clips back in. As I remember the clips are riveted to the clutch fork. They can get weak with age though. If the TOB fits loose in the clips, it can dance around on the TOB retainer when realeased. Especially if the retainer is worn as well.

As for the pivot ball, it can rattle if the cable is adjusted too loosely and the pivot ball is dry of grease.

If I ever have to replace the clutch in mine, it will include:

Flywheel machining/replace
Clutch disc
Pressure plate
FRPP TOB
FRPP "needle" style pilot bearing
Cobra "steel" TOB retainer
Hardened Cobra input shaft - if necessary
FRPP fork assembly
Lube pivot ball w/ synthetic grease
