Those are some really cool pics. Must be really sweet to drive around an abandoned town and not worry about traffic laws lol. Mack set the bar so its time for someone to up the ante. I vote for pics at the abandoned town of Chernobyl. Come on SN95er's dawn your geiger counters and lead suits and get at it

Haha, I wish... I took these photo's last Sunday and the town actually was quite busy. The town attracks a lot of photographers and "urban explorers". Sometimes I had to wait quite to get all people out of the photo's.

Also, because of the empty buildings the police watches the town closely - although I haven't seen cops when I was there.

It was nice though to have some people around... The Mustang certainly got some attention. I had quite a lot of people take photo's of the car as well:

Thanks, that's one of my favorites too. I was surprised I could take a photo that good :D

The Dutch police is very strict on the law that tires cannot stick out outside the fender - so I'll leave it as-is to stay out of trouble ;) Compared to the other SN95's in my country I'm already one of the best.

You live in Maine. I've been in Maine: there's only trees.

I live in the Netherlands: a little bigger than New Jersey but 16,6 million people. You're always surrounded by people here

Where did you go in Maine? Unless you go to Portland/South Portland/ Scarbrough/ Bangor/ Augusta you wont see much other then tree's or tourist areas.

You make wooden shoes, we have lobster. We win

Haha, just messing with you, I loved Maine! We drove from the White Mountains to Bangor (which is a nice town), we spent a couple of days in Acadia (yes... tourists) and then drove south along Route 1. We were there in 2010, in the fall foliage. I've even been in Damariscotta, does that count?

My wife loves the Maine lobster, we're not big fans of wooden shoes so indeed you win ;)
