I have to have a Front License plate In VA GRRRRR. I am not happy with that. I figure i might as well get a stinking V6 bumper since it already has the inset in it for a front License Plate.

My province did away with it about 5 years ago, so My car didnt have to get drilled when the new bumper cover went on(thank god!). I wonder why some places require front plates though, security thing?

Honestly...it would be very easy to make one like Madstang has.

Just go to a hardware store and get two large L-brackets, and support them with a cross piece. Thats all it is...and seems to work well.

BAH, I drove around for 3 years with no front plate when i still lived in VA. I never had any probs as long as it was on the dash. But I am glad I live in NC where we dont need one at all

I just put mine on this week, I drove on the last owners california plates until they expired and when I put on my CT ones I didnt have the bolts so I tossed it under the seat and forgot about it

Last week someone was telling me they got a fine for not having the front on the car so I went out and bought the bolts

The holes were already drilled so it really wasnt a big deal to me

That looks pretty cool! Wonder if that's legal, though! I am scared to death of being pulled over now!! That's why I never speed & try to follow the rules. If I get pulled over by an a-hole cop, I could very easily have my license taken away, for life!! Not scared of much now, that & water!

Front plates are required in NY but I'm not running one on either of my cars right now, haven't had one on the Cobra for maybe 3 years at least. I do want to make a custom bracket for it though, but man does it make the front end look like balls.

I'm going to be legal this time for once and just obey the law on these matters. I'll make a bracket for it.

VA is very strict on this. Windshield is illegal, tucked behind bumper is illegal. It must be 100% visable, and in plain site. IT is a big ticket and most places will not give you a warning.

Norfolk /Va beach area is terrible for Police,If you dont want the hassel, make a braket for it. DIsplay it and let the cops go after the Hondas.
