wet driver side floor after rain/snow

Hey,
I just bought a 95 gt and after it rains the driver side floor is damp...I pealed back the carpet some and its fairly moist aswell...anyways didnt know if there is a common fix for this or some one can point me in the right direction...its not coolant I know that..

never heard of this problem... id suggest driving through a car wash and trying to track down where the leak is coming from.

Maybe behind the firewall coming in from the windshield wiper cover :dontknow:

this could be a good suggestion. the weather stripping on the bottom of the glass would have to be going out. because all thats under that cowl area is more body work and firewall. so thats the only "seal" area.

also, check you weather stripping where it mates against the glass on the doors. that stuff is junk.

that was a legit question.... we need to observe all possible scenarios before giving accurate advice.

The windshield is probably leaking. a quick way to check it would be to spray all around the outside of the winshield with soap and water them use compressed air inside the car around the edges of the windshield. it will bubble outside were the leak is

if it were leaking coolant from the heater core you would know, because it would smell like warm pancake syrup in the car and it would be leaking in the passenger side rather than the driver side! been there, no fun!

Remove the front cover in the engine bay (below wiper cowl) and see if maybe there are any spots that have maybe rusted through
