Its a SUV not a truck! :santa_afro:. but they are kickin. i could go on for days about how much i love them. I test drove a C class FJ, I got to put it through its paces. I was nothing but impressed. They are "the shit" when it comes to SUV's.

I never call them SUV's. They will always be trucks LMAO. SUV's were trucks LONG before SUV became a popular term HAHAHA

Got Mr. Ganley to gimme a deal on a new Jeep today, Wrangler X with rear Locker, auto, and both tops, pretty nice ride actually, and I can have some fun with it. Came in under 20k for me too.

Now I have to spend less on a stang though :(

I wouldnt mind the Caliber, it was reasonable. But I couldn't see out of the friggen thing! In front or out the back, annoying. It had enough room for me, in since it's all PT cruiser like, it had certain utility for cargo too, but damn, I was gonna die in it.

Minivan motor in a Jeep works pretty nice though, lol.

They should have kept the 4.0, it was so perfect. The only downfall was the gas it sucked back.

My old Rubicon sucked balls actually, it couldn't do anything requiring RPM. And 4 low was worthless. That's why I damn near did a little back flip when I found out I could get the X with a rear electric locker, don't need the 4:1 low range, and I can add a front locker for waay less than the price difference.

INterestingly enough, you can get a dvd player in the dash on RUbicon and Sahara models now.

IN an XJ the trans is geared better, and it doesn't have the 4:1 low range I used to have to suffer through.

Yeah that DVD player is like 2400 to replace, it's a nav system too. I was interested since it can store waypoints and all that fancy stuff, but I wasn't ponying up for a Sahara to get it.

A couple months ago I picked up a 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS. I really like it so far and it's a beast in the snow. Gas mileage is decent and they are very reliable.

You bastard! Do you know how long I've been looking for one of those? I have called every single Subaru stealership in the state of Illinois and a few in Missouri and none of them have one. :mikec:

I know what you're talkin bout, they are very hard to find and even harder to find in decent condition, and then when you do they seem pretty pricey. Your best bet is to just check Autotrader, cars.com and craigslist in your area. It took me several months to find one I was happy with and then to cap it off i just hit a deer with it new years eve.

They have them here in Ohio, Ganley Subaru has three or four.
Are you sure they are the 2.5RS version? It would be extremely rare to have that number of them.

Like it or not.............anything by HONDA

I got another Wrangler.

Another thing, the new Wrangler has nearly as much room as my old UNlimited did.

I dont have any pics of it at the moment. It's 4x4, you can only get UNlimiteds in 2wd and even that is ::) But whatever sells them I guess, lol

Just an X with a rear locker and electric sway bar disco's, and weenie pizza cutter tires.

wow, impressive. I don't think there have been 4 98-01 2.5RSs for sale here in the past 6 months.

In late but btw... my DD is a 2006 Mazda 6i. Great gas mileage and it does pretty well in the snow.
