I would say average is 3k or just under it. Not uncommon to go 4.5k+ when I have a little space. Of course I've hit the cut-off a couple of times and it was rather unspectacular. I don't know what I expected to happen lol but it wasn't anything exciting.

2-2.5 for normal driving with 3.73s. Shift at 4.8-5k when on the track. Stock headed and intake 302 doesn't make power anything later than that

I don't drive my Stang it is sitting in the driveway. I would normally shift at about 2grand just b/c of the 3.73's.

You guys make me feel like I just absolutely beat the hell out of my car. I don't think I could bring myself to continuously shift at 2k.

I personally don't really pay attention to it, it's just such a second nature thing that the rpms really don't matter. I just shift when I needa shift. As I'm sure most people here do.
+1. I like to keep my eyes on the road rather than my dash

Hey you guys really ought to invest in a Raptor Shift light!!! They work great so you don't have to look at the dash! I have mine on the steering col. Easy install & wiring. I set mine at 4500 presently & shift before 5000 rpm's...my car has 150,000 miles so I don't feel like abusing it much. Hehe...well ok just a little!

I almost never shift below 2k.

I gotta, my car's way too loud for the street otherwise. I set car alarms off at 2500+

I'm confused by this statement.

YOU'RE the one who sets the shiftlight so it's like you're telling your car when to tell you when to shift. Soooooo....?
