Love this build. Makes me want to go finish my motor swap in the 67 and do some real work to her.
i hear you man! it's really enjoyable! its nice to have a project rather than it being my daily im working on, while im driving it lol! so much stress when you "have to get it done" vs. getting there eventually.

Well guys, I haven't posted in forever, but I found some good news. Seems that while I was taking my motor apart yesterday, I found that I have a Mexican 302! I know its not all that rare, but it was still cool to see I have a decent block to work with!

Yup! The Aftermarket for "drift" parts doesn't exist for 69's. But even though its a small community, there are plenty of drift oriented parts for sn95. I know there is plenty of parts for my car otherwise. But they are over priced, and not really all that much better. And from a driving standpoint, I've owned two sn95's. So I think i would adjust to driving it quicker, with a familiar feel behind the wheel

I absolutely LOVE build threads like this. If I had a garage I would definitely have a project like this on the back burner. Nothing like old school muscle and its so cool to bring something like this back from the dead.
