Everyone has liked that Syncromesh fluid lately. I'm pretty sure for the T5 too.

I don't know enough about trannys but I know the Sncromesh is suppose to be good. :crazy2:

t-5 uses ATF. I have since switched to royal purple version of synchromesh. its a lot better than the pennzoil crap.

does all the fluid drain from the plug? or is worth taking it somewhere and let it pump it out, if that makes a difference?

Draining from the plug is good enough.

Pennzoil is who makes GM Synchromesh which is widely used.

Im currently using Royal Purple in my Tremec.

I ended up going with royal purple syncromax. I used to have penzoil syncromesh in there. I can't really tell a difference in shifting but there is a definite difference in the heat department. With the royal purple, the tranny tunny and floor boards do not get nearly as hot as before with what ever fluid came in the car or syncromesh. I say a good improvement!

I didn't have good luck with synchromesh in the T45 for racing. It seemed like after it was in the trans for more than a few days i wouldn't let me into 3rd at 5000+rpm. When I switched to Mobil1 synthetic ATF I didn't have any more shift problems.
