I have a 1994 GT with AOD-E and transgo shift kit and believe B&M 2500 stall converter, BBK catless x pipe with SLP loudmouth exhaust, suspension work done, cold air intake and thats it SO FAR lol

I am back and forth about going with 4.10, 3.73, etc. It is a daily driver with a few times a month running at the track and believe I am 2 sizes bigger than factory which I realize reduces the gear. I am about to buy a entire assembly or rebuild mine in the next month and want to do this with as much
input from those that currently have done this already.

Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas, Happy holidays!

Put a 4.10 in it if its a stockish motor. Its a tad much for a 5 speed, but was kick ass when I had an automatic.

Knee deep in the water some where
4:10 at least for an auto. I would run the same in a 5spd.Had them in the last stick car before I switched to 4:30's. It was a dd and was fun to drive.I also lived a whole 5 min from the dragstrip too.

I have 4.10s with my Auto and i wouldnt mind to drive the Stang with 4.30 Gears. I would say atleast 4.10 with the AODE Automatic, its a night and Day difference believe me and it will make a lot of fun with the shift kit you already have. Merry Christmas !

I've always heard 4.10s for autos and 3.73s for manuals. I have 4.10s in my 95 5-speed and wouldn't have it any other way. Don't fear the gear!

I have 3.27's but I have a turbo to spool up too.. If I went with 3.73 or 4.10 I would run out of top end quick because I don't use the overdrive at the track..it would probably explode.. Lol but if it's n/a go with what the guys are saying and go with 4.10's

Go 4.10 definatly. I had a 2001 gt vert. auto with 4.10 boltons and 100 shot and that car was pretty quick and stayed in the powerband.

im getting ready to have 3.27s in mine, but like forcefed ill also be running a turbo.....but in my previous mustangs ive had 3.08, 3.55, and 4.10 gears and i still got really good fuel mileage...i think if i had an N/A car i would go with 4.56 this time, just my opinion tho

If your staying N/A or getting a Centri blower down the road 4.10's will be your friend. I went with 3.73's because of the Eaton Supercharger kit I have that hits low in the rpm's.

In retrospect.. Choose a gear that will meet your future build criteria.. If your going n/a only 4.10, if going with forced induction depending on the type ( roots, centrifugal blower, or turbo) gear ahead of time for those.. But that's just me.. I don't like to tear them down a second time if I do t need to especially not to give up a beautiful Saturday that could be spent whippin some ls1 ass at the track instead of regearing to find out its raining the next Saturday :).. Happened to me on more than one occasion.. In short think of the future kinda like a 401k in ass kickin..
