Lol, most 302's aren't in Mustangs, and most 350's/lsx's aren't in Camaro's, it's how they justify the whole thing, mass scale.

There really should be more modular part's out there, regardless of complexity, nothing new is simple. LSx's are simpler, but buried under the cowl, etc etc. Tuning, blah blah blah, it's not 1978 anymore unfortunately, and fortunately, it's a mixed bag.

well how much would it be for a built auto for say 800-900 rwhp. oh i dont have a core either, its either going to be turboed if i sell the supercharger kit, or ysi powered
im pretty sure it will be ysi powered as of now and it might, and i say might creep up to 1000hp ill be running 24psi pulley on the blower with a 10% overdrive on the crank. through a fmic and a progressive water meth kit. so which trans and about how much would it run me?

You'll probably want a powerglide with that much power off the line, something I don't offer. You could also try a C4 should be ok at that powerlevel, again, something I don't offer though.

ha, at 1000whp you better start looking at some expensive transmissions, your everyday performance built trans wont come near that.

i'd be calling Darrin at BC-automotive if you plan to push that much power, not many people making that through anything but a glide or C like JR said.

I wouldnt put that much torque into a 4r70, Darin will tell you the same thing I'm sure, he's quite competent. The 4r70 still has the direct drive hold over from the FMX, all that power funneled to the direct drum will pull the splines right out of it. There's no billet upgrade as of yet. This happens at around 700 ft/lbs of torque BTW.
