...and why does it stop me from raising or lowering my window when unplugged? (backside of driver door panel)

Oh, then that makes sense as to why the window wouldnt go down, lol. Thanks guys.
Yeah, don't feel bad. I'm ASE certified and have been working on cars for a while. I had the drivers panel off my 94 and was putting new bushings in the motor, low and behold when I installed the motor it didn't work. I scratched my head for a while and stopped drinking beer and it came to me. Boy did I ever feel stupid. I had the voltmeter out ready to go to town testing and everything.
