What is this vent on Kenne bell? I've traced an oil residue coming from here under the hood.

Found a little more info once I found the magic words
"Kenne Bell oil spray problem" keyword is spray
Apparently a guy built a lot to correct the issue for Kb applications over 12 psi. There are other recommendations for lowering the oil level to the lowest fill level for up to 16/17 psi applications but I'm not a fan of that idea. I found a kit someone built back in the day. I'll have to make something like this but maybe not so bulky. I'm thinking a standard oil catch can would work but change the filter to the existing KB vent.
