my 94 gt automatic already has BBK underdrive pulleys and cold air, and flowmaster exhaust. the motor now has 130k miles on it and i dont want to supercharge it until i get it rebuilt so i was wondering what kind of performace parts i could get now for it, i was thinking 4:10 gears and programmer but i wanted some opinions on it and to see what you guys thought.

Gears don't give horsepower they multiply torque. FRPP 3.73's FTW!!
A Bassani X pipe will give you some power.

4:10's would be your best bet for "seat of your pants feel".....esp with that auto. After that,a little 50-75 shot would be fun too.

4.10's
2400-2600 stall (I think stock is 1800)
X or H pipe
JLT intake

In that order. Those parts right there should drop about .6-.8 of your 1/4 mile time.

4.10's are snappy but if this is a daily driver it is going to eat the gas, i would o with 3.73 i like the gas-to-torqe ratio on them....also look into the induction with the throttle body, intake, mass air and the exhaust like h/x pipe and headers.

You don't buy a Mustang V8 for gas mileage.

Get a vortech supercharger and no more problems. and just add boost as you want more power. $2600 for the vortech and $800 for putting it on but its easy to install just time consuming

My MPG was horrible with FRPP 4.10's too.
If I did it again I would have got FRPP 3.73's.

Not with a good dyno tune it will not.
It's all in the tune my friend.
I wouldn't go over 8 psi. on a stock shortblock though.

If you're doing more city driving with stop and go, I'd be money that with 4.10's you'd pick up mileage if you drive sensibly. It will require much less throttle input in order to get the car moving up to speed i.e. less load on the motor requiring less fuel. WIn WIn.

I would leave the supercharger out...for now. Get some exhaust stuff and some gears. And if you like what the gains are, and want more...look into a supercharger.

+1 to that. Start with the basic's first. And if you want more, which you probably will, then go with power-adders.
