What should I have made?

My buddy is goin to school for precision machining and he needs a project but he can't think of anything to make so he's going to make me something. What do you think I should have him make? I was thinking a shifter handle but that's kinda :lame: I want something a little cooler.

I would probably go with the custom pulleys thing. That is a good project that can be done with a LOT of patience and practice on a manual lathe. I have one-of-a-kind pulleys on my convertible, and people are always asking where the hell they came from.
