what size spacer can i use on a performer rpm/typhoon intake on a stock hood? i'm trying to figure it out. it came with a 1 inch and i'm almost positive it will be too tall with that.

If you have stock valve covers, just don't use a spacer at all.

They should. I used stock 95 valve covers with my performer, elbow, and 70mm TB and it fit fine.

Polish fox covers? That's a bunch of work. Good luck with the project - should come out nice with some time and effort.
