I for sure want a new shortblock, maybe longblock if I can get a good deal on one. And I for sure want to turbo. But until I get the funds for all that stuff.. What should I do in the meantime? I just installed tailpipes finally, and might work on welding hangers to my good tips and throwing those on tomorrow, maybe. I put a new clutch cable, quadrant, and firewall adjuster in last week so that fixed my issue of high pedal release. Sooo what the heck should I do now? Well better yet.. What should I save for next? I'm gettin bored haha I want MO POWA! But what should I save for next? New mota? Maybe save and build my own turbo kit? What would you guys do?

And for the record, I'm not trying to have you guys build my car lol, I know it's my car and I'll build it my way. I'm just more or less looking for suggestions to start putting money aside for. Grassy ass fellas! :)

get some exterior stuff done joey! vinyl wrap the roof black, pick up some new wheels (black fr500's with a polished lip would look banging on your car), get another chin spoiler, maybe a new head unit

^^I was going to say the same thing! Do the exterior, suspension, and interior mods you want first. That's what I've been doing. I find that's a ton more fun than building a motor/trans. Build a nice looking car with good suspension and then worry about making power.

Hmmm. Honestly the pedal height doesn't bother me haha but I may have to look into getting one just to see the difference.

And guys I have a new lip on, I have the chrome 95 R's, they just need 315's :) and my headunit is BOSS. Not the brand, just the definition lol it's a fancy Pioneer that plays and charges my old iphone which I turned into my ipod.

The suspension tho.. I have upper control arms..... I should put them in....

Hmm would be about 2 weeks out to have $750 but that is definitely a good price. I dunno maybe I'll just save for a shortblock lol. I think if I get the short block then I'll get some heads and have a badass motor ready to rock and roll. We'll see fellas

These heads have been for sale for MONTHS. Im sure theyll be around in two weeks. Id get the heads then start your build on a shortblock. With the rights cams with those heads you could put down 330-340 on a stock shortblock. Been done numerous times.

So on a built/bored lower end with those heads your looking at somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 with a proper tune and good cams... Now that. That is tempting. I'll let you know if I decide to go through with that in a few weeks.

But I won't lie fellas... I keep getting this urge to find myself a Z28 LS1. I've wanted one ever since I bought my 99 V6 Camaro 3 years ago. And I still have that, with a leaking head gasket..... LS swap?? You guys are probably gonna kill me for saying that haha. But I won't ever get rid of my Mustang. That thing is a freakin part of me

Itd take a serious short block to do that. Local cat put down a hair over 400 with Trick Flow heads, Custom Cams, and slightly bumped compression. Id imagine with a nice stroker kit it could be done. The heads would probably need a little more porting too though.

Yeah the intended route is the 5.0 stroker 900 from MMR. Fully built and forged, as well as bored and stroked. The works! Compression would be a tad low just because of the plan of boost. Man I'm gettin stoked just thinkin about it lol

It'll happen some day Belb I just have to try harder to save not spend. But there were some things I wanted done first like tail pipes. But now that almost everything I wanted done first is done, the real fun can begin. My clutch is actually not bad so I'm not gonna worry about it yet. The new cable and quadrant fixed that problem. It's a stock replacement clutch but it's not burned out yet so I'll hold off on that till I feel it slipping. The gears are where I want them finally, and I have a good set of wheels on it. Now to work on my saving game lol..
