yea..nitrous would be an easy/ cheap way to go fast... But I dont know. I honestly want to get rid of this auto before I put any more money into it.

some PI cams would net you a solid 15rwhp and help extend your power curve alittle higher...and a nice 3200-3500rpm stall can knock up to 1/2 second off your 1/4 mile.

thats what i said when i got mine. 98 gt auto.. boring and dull :lame: 4.10s with a badass shift kit and some bolt ons later.. i think differently.. :dancing6: you hit second in my car, it'll jump side ways.. barks 2nd like you just beat a dog with a stick for 2 hours.. built automatic > slush box t45

Drive for a week in my traffic with a 6 speed and 4.30's and you'll think differently about your auto, lol. But you should be able to get a 5 speed in for about 1800, less if you really bargain hunt.

I have 3.73s, and pretty much every bolt on for the car. The tuner makes it shift 100x harder..but the tranny doesnt feel or sound like its in that good of condition. You dont really have a bult auto..its stock auto with a shift kit..haha I would rather bark second with a 5 speed then my auto bark second for me.

everytime I drive a manual car it just makes me wish mine was 5 speed. I work at a car dealership by the way..so I drive hundreds of differant cars

I drove a stock 04 5 speed and could jump sideways like nothing shiftin into second..

:dunno: i like my car, regardless of the tranny.. it still runs strong, so i'm not going to condemn the car because of that. For me, i'm waiting on a beat up/wrecked 96-98 gt 5spd to role through an auto auction that i can use as a donor car >

I know what your going through, i love my auto and with the 3200PI converter and shift kit it was sweet but lately i have been thinking of doing a TKO600 swap and retiring the auto...especially since its not a daily driver anymore.
