mac h pipe, 40 flows, bbk cai, bbk tb, bbk plenum, underdrive pulleys 50-150 NX nitrous, msd coil packs, msd wires, 410 hears.

just am not sattisfied. so i am considering on going into the motor but i dont have any idea of a good package to work with. working with a budget and am wanting to be to 12's something to low 13's. 113k miles

PI swap or intake/cam swap (may as well go aftermarket if you're getting new cams IMO)

PI swap would be great, 10.5:1 is a good compression ratio for nitrous

I just did some new cams and PI intake swap in mine. The car runs a hundred times better (it ran well before) and it pulls much harder. Its a fairly cheap but good power upgrade. If you get a set of PI heads it will bump your compression. Compression is good for nitrous.

since you already have the juice, i'd go with what everyone is saying and find a cheap PI swap and find some used VT stage 1 or 2 NA cams and that will easily get you into the 12's with that 100 shot.

well i guess you could get the non pressed but i prefure them... Even though they are not 100% on time but then again i don't want to do it wrong so... But any would work 99 up.

I got a set of 99 up Truck heads so :)

i've seen them bought and sold for $300-400 all over the place.

i just can't remember if that was assembled and with or without cams.

a couple guys here deal with them a lot more than i, so i'm sure they'll give a better answer.

when you did the cams, how was that was it a pain in the ass. did you see good results. is it worth swapping out the heads if you dont port?

Cams are tedious to swap in the car. I know some people have luck without remoiving the chain, but I would set aside a day for it nonetheless, just in case you do need to pull the cover. Just take your time and it's pretty straightforward.

Swapping the heads with stock cams is not worth the effort, IMO. You'll only be 15 rwhp ahead of the game, tops, with an entire extra day of effort and more money in part's. Porting is pretty worthless without cams to back it up also. You could always swap in the PI cams, and save to either have the NPI set-up to run big lift cams, or get some ported PI's and cams.

Most people with just an intake and cam swap report better throttle response and riveability also.
