I was hoping the TOB would last long enough for me to find the money to replace the shift forks in the trans, but it's not. I know that the TOB is a parts store piece and I know that some are better than others......are there heavier duty ones available for the T45? I've yet to be under the car so is it possible to squirt some grease in it without yanking the gearbox?

Has anyone done a Kevlar pilot in these cars? I'm not looking forward to this simply because my car is so low I can't even get a jack under it.....

never heard of a kevlar bearing.

When it comes to bearings that require I drop the transmission, I used what's been tried-and-true. If you feel brave enough to do a different bearing, by all means please do; let us know how it goes! :-D

Has anyone found a better price on the FRPP TOB than what roushyates.com has them for? Their 50 dollar tag is the lowest I've seen yet. Sorry, I'm a price shopper, a buck here or there adds up fast. Kinda like the cobra headlights I just bought at 51 dollars for the pair.

Yeah that sounds like a good price, I know American Muscle has them for 59.99 wfree shipping, and Lethal Performance has them for 53.95 not including shipping.

Well, I bought the TOB that was labelled Ford Racing with the correct part number so hopefully it will be right. This TOB I currently have, is currently making an other wise great sounding car sound like shit.

That's what I want to hear! Should be here by the end of the week, along with a new pilot.....and some other parts. I bought cobra headlights, tinted taillights, a New key fob and tomorrow a clutch cable with firewall adjuster and quadrant. Thanks for your input fellas!

I hope like hell you got the Maximum Motorsports cable. I had the UPR one and it failed with in a month. It didnt stretch, it just came apart. I have been rinning the stock cable on my double hook quadrant since
