What year car you have would be a big help as well. I was basing my answer on a 94/95

I have no idea when it comes to stalls and shift kits b/c Ive always had 5 SPD's. Traction is a big issue to, what was your 60' time.

I assume you mean 8s in the 1/8?

Why dont you get a baseline and see what youve got?

You might be close with what you have....with a stall you should definately be in the 8s.

Either way your going to need some decent tires. You can throw all the power you want to at it but if your just blowing the tires off the line its nothing but an up hill battle. Id get a baseline to just to see where you are at b/c it will give a better idea of what to do next. You can do power or suspension or both. I'll be done w/ power for a little while once the car is back together in the next day or so and just focus more on suspension and weight. Ive always been an advocate of doing more with less.
