What would you do if this was your cobra?

My cobra has been at the dealership bodyshop for the last month getting repaired after a lady hit me going about 40mph in a expedition.

Lady driver vs 03 cobra = WRECK!!!

Anyway, its been a long wait and today was the day I was suppose to pick it up from the shop. So I'm super excited right

This guy was driving my car like he was running from the police, I discuss the matter with the manager, but that didn't make me feel any better. So after getting no where with the manager I started looking for the guy

but I didn't find him. I finally just went back to work as my lunch was over (vented) beside it wasn't worth going to jail over. What would you have done?

Are you 100% sure that he was beating on it and you don't just have a super loud exhaust? I'm asking because my exhaust is stupid loud but I only really noticed it when my brother took it around the block, I never thought people could clearly hear me coming from 2-3 blocks away. Now if you're 100% sure he was beating on it then call the owner directly and complain, probably not the first time the guy has beat on customers' cars before

well besides doing things that would get you arrested, lol. i would talk to the owner and then the actual tech that was driving your car at the same time if possible, that usually ends well being that the tech would feel salty while in front of the owner. might get something out of it?? wanting any ford parts, lol???

Years ago I caught a Ford tech making a taco bell run and smoking in my SHO, followed him right back to the dealer and talked directly to the dealership GM, got my whole repair for free and an inside/outside detailing as well

Yep, +1 for follow or wait for him at the dealership. Then escort his ass inside and talk to the highest authority there that day. Andwhile you're at it, make up some shit you saw him doing with your car. :D

On the flip side, my buddies that work at the delers/lots allways brag about driving cool cars. F*kers.

Hahaha that made me laugh so hard for some reason, good thing they took care of the bill. Mine is a really really big bill I think like 8 or 11k. I'm just try to get my bill reduced and buy myself a nice whipple for my pain and suffering haha.

Why do people keep asking me this hahaha. Of coarse I'm sure its one thing to hear your car but actually see it in action is a whole different ball game.

Edit* I see now why you asked, I reread my post and I forgot to mention the guy came from behind me and passed me up weaving in and out of traffic.

Open your owners manual and on the first couple of pages there is a customer satisfaction help line to Ford. Also, the satisfaction questionnaire that you get affects the CSAP rating that they get from Ford. Make sure you document everything. Try to get the techs name.

I bought a new Honda Sport Bike once & while I was finishing the papers I saw the "mechanic" doing a block long almost vertical wheelie on my new purchase & the rpm's were screaming at max...probably 12000+....(I did it later!) You could hear my bike for blocks & everyone just stopped to look....I told the salesman... ok you keep that blue one I'll take the red one still in the showroom!

If I had brought in in for service & that happened I might have done the same thing! & sued to get it....good luck on whatever you do.

Not shocking at all. I've been in the car business since I was 17 working at a dealer. It's not that uncommon. I never beat on a persons car unless it's a used car. Then I run the tar out of it and see what it has, then return it promptly.
