Im considering a gear swap this summer, im going to be prolly working a second job to save up a bit of extra money and im just going through the mods list here.

For starters im running 3.55's with a t56 *S-TRIM@10psi and alot of people are saying to go larger or stay where im at, im just curious as to what you guys would think of going to 4.10's with my mods? if that would be too much for the motor with a blower or what. Pros and Cons etc etc.

Well I say, since you have a t56, I would go with the 4.10's. Well before I start saying this, if your 6th gear is geared for gas mileage I would go for it without even thinking about it. But If you really want to see what it would be like with 4.10s go here:

I've been wanting a vspec t56 for a long time, and I was going to put 4.10s in my car once I got it. But, money is too tight, so I can only dream. If you need a reason to do it, do it for me...haha :thumb:

Yeah i have the cobra spec T-56, i was just tryin to get some input from you guys

Just pokin' a little fun. :)

If you're not unsatisfied with how the car runs, or you don't need more gear to reach some arbitrary goal ET that you've set for yourself, then I would leave it alone.

With that said, since you have a six speed (lucky - I'm jealous) then you could easily do 3.73s or 4.10 and have very sensible high-speed cruising RPM.
