What's up ladies! I'm new to this forum; however I've been on some others before. I have a white 98 cobra with a 4.56 gear. My question is what do y'all think about getting my car vinyl wrapped matted black or should I just repaint my car metallic black? Haha I'm indecisive about the whole thing and can't choose what I want to do. Either way I found them both at the same price. Let me know what y'all think, I need some votes haha

I love the matte black. Considered wrapping mine like that and even went as far as to go get a quote. Twas a little more expensive than i thought so of course, not done...

I went the plastidip route as well. I just use a little degreaser for any finger prints and regular car wash soap works fine.

Flat, matte, satin or whatever black needs to be done right. IMO you can't just matte black your stock looking car. Needs a nice set of wheels and a lower (at least) to pull it off properly. Personally, I dig the whole vinyl wrapping trend going on right now but just not on my car lol. I feel it looks better on modern cars.

Appreciate the quick responses! But yea I think im gonna go with the matted black, but it wont be until after i can get my lowering springs, cause it'll look like shit at stock height. Anyone know where I can find some cheaper used lowering springs? Looking to drop it about 2 inches all the way around, but im not against having lower in the front than in the back by a small percentage.

Ebay will be your best bet for a set of cheap springs.

Unless you're willing to cut the stock ones.

Def use plastidip or vinyl wrap because eventually you'll come back to your senses and realize white cars are the fastest :)
