Whats a supercharged '97 Cobra vert worth?

Hi, Im looking at a '97 cobra convertible for sale locally. It has all the bells and whistles done to it, a vortec supercharger, full exhaust, suspension and only has 50k original miles. Whats a car like this worth? He's pretty firm on 13k but I think thats a bit high. Am I wrong? Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Thats because he's added what he's done to the car to his asking price. I paid 8000 for mine with 80k on it and it threw a rod the next day. And car fax's are really worth it lol i'd try and talk him down. You could buy one for like 6 or 7k and do everything yourself for possibly cheaper?

It would have to be super clean for 13k, and recipts for everything ever done.Even then, i would be hesitant to pay 13k for one, esp. in this economy.

13k is about right for that car, I wouldn't sell it for less than 10k. Especially with it's mods, besides you will end up paying about the same for mods on a stock cobra convertable. Just depends on what you want.

I just bought a fully loaded Bright Atlantic Blue 98 Cobra convertible with a 1.7L KB Supercharger with only 47K miles on it from the original owner for $10K, but the asking price was $14K. It is also lowered on H&R springs with a Bassani exhaust and all mods were professionally installed, so good deals are out there. :thumbsup: Good luck :eek:ccasion14:

i bought a 96 triple black vert with 60k with the kenne bell 2.1 flawless car for 10k

That's too much money for the car IMO. I wouldn't pay more than 10k for it.

soo thats on an orginal motor not built or forged... IMO thats too much.... I bought mine for under 10k with a built and forged motor with less than 15k miles on everything and it has all the bells and whistles... I would keep looking especially in this economy

If the bottom is stock i would pass. If it's built the price is OK but you could talk him down.
