look into hightechs also.. if you haven't yet. their kinda new on the market, but they've made very nice gains on basic bolton gts

I'm running CMS stage 2 n/a cams and am very happy with them. Below is my dyno graph and a little vid to give you an idea what they sound like at idle.

I 2nd Cushman (VT) Stg 2's, you can probably find those pretty decently priced. It all depends on the price but either way if you go Cushman 2's or Custom or HiTech then your going to love them alot.

I personally want to see track times on these HiTechs. b/all I have seen is good dyno numbers but no track times.

YouTube will give you alot of different setups that you can listen to.

there is a video on youtube of a 2004 gt, full bolton's and hitech stage 2's, stock heads, 4:10's going 12.1 @ 112mph i think. He made right at 300hp, I think like 307tq. With the pi swap compression bump you'd make over 300 I would assume.

ok a nuther ? with a stage 2 cam will nieed any thing for my valve train?

I would definitely upgrade the valve springs with any stage 2 cams, especially if you plan on revving over 6400rpms (stage 2?s love high rpms). I went with Manley Nextex springs as Jim Cushman of CMS cams recommended them

I saw that video as well, which is very impressive. However he did change out his suspension drastically..without a proper suspension you can have all the power in the world but without being able to plant it to the ground its pretty much pointless..

I wouldn't say drastically, all that i got out of it was a tubular k and a built rearend.. did it say he had lca's or drag springs?

also keep in mind, if you plan on revving past 6400, or even near it your stock rods, and oil pump gears become glass after 6000

God I just hope my car after my swap can run 12's.

it will dude. stop worrying about it, as long as you can cut a good .60 and .330 you'll be fine for 12.7 to 12.9 As long as its tuned well
