The pic is of the rear calipers on my 94 GT. What is that little metal clip thing in the middle of the caliper? Just wondering. Having a hard time getting it back in there right and I think I may have bent it.

thats the gugenflux, man those are hard to find now and the brakes will not work nearly as well with out them fitting perfectly.
















Yea I have no idea...........

you can get those at autozone in a brake hardware kit for like 8$ for all the parts i just did my rear brakes a week ago and i think i still have the 2 new ones i never put on in my garage

So its an anti rattle clip. Man I thought I heard some kind of noise coming from back there. I bent one up pretty good. So good that I'm pretty sure its not functioning anymore. I didn't mean to do it but I was thinking that the rear brakes might be like my volvo 850 turbo that I used to have. Where you just slide this little pin that looks a lot like the anti rattle clip.
