What will you buy next time around? I like lots of cars...Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, Corvette, 1-series, Fox body, SN95, Audi A5/S5, C-class, etc etc

But the more I see, the more I want a C6. I have a feeling though that with its light weight, it's super sleek stance, wide width, and great motor, it will pretty much ruin owning any other type of car ever and I think that's why I've stayed away, especially owning an old Camaro. Kind of like if you had a Vette, every other car thereafter would just feel like a bloated pig, since it's pretty much the only muscle car left that isn't a bloated pig (let's face it, the Camaro Mustang and Challenger are all fat and need a diet BAD...the Vette is the only car that has stayed lean and trim).

I say this now but I'll probably total my car tomorrow, buy the wife a new car and get myself another crappy old sub-$10k car lol.

What'll you get next time around, whenever that may be?

Ford or GTFO!!!!!!!!!!!

JK. Maybe if I ever become something and make something of myself, I'll be thinking about stepping up to another car. I'd love a new 5.0.

I'm a full time and a half college kid working 32 hours a week I can't afford anything I'd really want. If I could, I'd be driving a C6 Z06 or a viper or GT500, or a an EVO X or subie. But none of those are possible for me. All I got left is to stick it out with my 97 Cobra or save up and sell it and make payments on a newer GT (not 5.0 bc I can't afford). But I guess this will do for now.

Still got 18 months until work replaces my current Ranger, will probably just get another, although I hear they've 'canned' the Ranger, so it'll be whatever they call their version of the Mazda BT-50...

Beyond that, should have the Mustangs manual conversion done by then and hopefully got round to swapping the sr20det into my Nissan NX-R

I have never owned a new car in my life. I'm really enjoying the no car payment too. I am dreaming of a 2014 Mustang GT. The Mustang and myself will both be celebrating our 50th birthdays. Hopefully Ford will still have the 5.0 in it. I don't know if I would be happy with the 6 cyl. even though it has more HP and better MPG's than my 95 GT does. :(

Thinking about a C4 vette as a daily lol. they are dirt cheap around here, and super easy to work on. as long as the electronics are square ;p

if not that some old beater s10, ranger, tacoma, etc. 4 cyl truck.

Sure I would love a new 5.0 but I am reasonable in my budgeting haha
