Hey everyone, I haven't posted in a while due to working out of town during the week.
but anyways i recently bought 17x10.5 rims. they're about 3/8" from the shock stiffener (don't know the technical term) and when i get the tires i'm afraid of them rubbing, i was told the best tire fitment would be 315/35-17. could i get away with using a 1/2" spacer to avoid rubbing the shock or tailpipes and if i did would it stick out of the fender(which i'm trying to avoid)? if anybody has any suggestion i would greatly appreciate them..

I'm still tryin to get some pics.... but theres too much snow on the ground...:(

what does the quad shocks have in them? are they solid rubber, or do they have gas or hydraulic in them?

i believe they are gas charged, just like regular shocks. only they just slide in and out like a
piston, many people ditch them in favor of some aftermarket lower control arms.
