little info up front.. I have a 1990 mustang lx 5.0 with 5 lug conversion.. I know its not an sn95 but hoping someone can help anyway

I been trying to find the cause of my shaking/vibration at 60+ I feel it in the whole car including the steering wheel.. I originally thought it was in the front end.. when I had my new tires mounted they told me one of my front rims were bent.. I paid $100 to have someone straighten it out and it is striaght now.. they showed me on the balancer before and after.. But It still shakes..

So today I stuck my phone out the window going down the highway to see if any wheels were shaking... I was surprised to see both back tires have alot of movement.. any ideas on what could cause the back wheels move like that?? I was thinking rear end bushings or axle bearings?

I know its hard to tell in video but you can see it best past the 14 second mark on full screen and set it to 1080p

A-arm bushings. You've got an almost 25 year old car, if its the original suspension its ALL going to need to be gone through.

Could literally be anything. It could be your alignment. My old fox did something similar, and everything in the front end was new but I never aligned it. I just eyeballed the adjustments. Might want to get a lifetime alignment and see if anything is worn out/messed up while you're there. The tech should check it out before aligning it.

Check the wheel bearings by raising the rear of the car and then grab the wheels at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. Push/pull in opposite directions on the wheel and see if you can feel any movement. Also spin the wheels with your hands and listen for noise.

Since you have a solid rear axel, and movement on one side would translate to the other side.
Are you sure the other wheel isn't bent too?
What bent the wheel you've already repaired?

Good point about the axle.. it was the front passenger side that was bent.. we took video of it too and its rolling smooth.. just both back tires moving...

Dont know if its of any importance but I also notice a lot of wheel hop/rear end movement if I spin the tires in reverse... (not somthing I do intentionally but I have to back up a pretty good sized hill everyday at work and it just happens sometimes)

How clean are the mounting areas for the wheels? I've had customers cars shake from rust/corrosion on the mounting surfaces. How bad is the shake?
