So I went to change a wheel stud on my 95 cobra , and when I got the wheel and caliper off I notice the gear behind hub is to close to knock the wheel stud out. I didn't build the rear on the car so I was wondering if I need to pull the diff apart to remove the axel and
get enough room to put the new stud in. Did the cobra come with this setup.

Sounds like abs exciter ring. I always pull axles to do it. Personally I don't ever change 1 stud that's just me tho.

K well case proven replace all 10 studs on the rear it's easy it only takes about 25 mins to pull the axles to do it

id say change them all... better to take the 20 min to do it, then have a wheel go down the track while you car sits on the startting line.
