Hi i have a 1995 mustang gt, manual transmission, all stock as far as i know. I have 2 questions.

first, I was thinking about getting the chrome saleen style wheels. 17x9 front, and 17x10.5 in the back. im not 100% sure what tire sizes i should get. i was thinking 255/40-17 for the front and 315/40-17 for the back. ive done a lot of research online and i am not sure if those will fit or perform right. any recomendations?

the second question is will the pypes off road x-pipe fit directly to the stock exhaust, ( I do plan on getting flowmaster 40 series mufflers)...any help is appreciated?

I wouldn't suggest putting 245s on a 9" rim, I'd say 255/45 or 255/40 minimum depending how low profile you want but I think 275/40 is a more common size. for the rear you should be okay with 315/35-17s

also if the Pypes offroad X is for your year car with shorty headers then it'll fit the stock exhaust.

Wish I had 18s but the tires are way cheaper on 17s so I cant complain. It rubs a little on the fender when I go in driveways in an angle.

255/40 and 315/35/17 should be good. I think 255/45 and 315/35/17 would have a notiecable sidewall difference. The x pipe will fit as long as it says its for your year and will work with the stock manifolds or shorty headers

my stock tires were 255/45 and when I put 275/40s on the rear they were a touch shorter but it wasn't really noticeable.

Back in 2006, i had 275/40/17 on 17x9 and 315/35/17's on 17x10.5" 03/04 Cobra wheels with a 2" drop. I never had any issues with rubbing in the front and removed the quad shocks out back.

Yeah, it was dirty but it was slow too :)
