Where to find this?

Well im changing out the valve cover gasket on my car because I thought it started to leak...turns out it was just the little grommets on the plugs that go into the valve cover that were leaking. Question is where I can I find those pieces and whats the exact name for them.

I can take a picture tomorrow but I hope to go to ford or somewhere and pick them up tomorrow so I can finish it up

Yeah i think that is what he means it's just like a small grommet that goes around his COP let me look and i'll see what i can find

Not the grommet itself, the actual metal piece, The grommets come with the valve cover themselves and I have those. I just need the actual metal piece that the grommet goes around. I work at autozone and I know we wont have those, or im pretty sure we dont have them in stock at least.

So your looking for a metal washer kinda ???

well its kind of like a washer with a tube coming off of it, it goes right through the bolt holes on the valve covers

Do you have windsor heads? If so then what your looking for the Ford Dealer will definitely have for you. Just take your part with you so the can see it and give you the right one.

oh, you mean like the ventilation tube? does it go from the VCs to the TB??

no its hard to explain, ill post a pic here soon. I'm going by ford now to see if they have it.

they just called it a grommet in the system at their parts department.
