Hey All,

Just bought a 97 Cobra with an IRS swap, and it had no e-brake.

It has stock brakes.

I wanted to know if I get the e-brake kit for 94-98 or 99-04? I talked to LMR and AM, and I got different answers. I also read here on the forums, but wasn't sure.

Thanks

The are cobra specific, it's one of those small details in the swap that get over looked unfortunately. That and abs sensors.

I'm not 100%, but I think the 94-98 cables are too long and will not fully engage the e-brake. I'm mostly sure you will need the 99-04 cables.

Thank you both. I went and ordered the 99-04 cables. I'll post photos and findings as I get it on the car to confirm they work or what was needed.
