Which o2 senors: Bosch or NTK?

Hey guys, I need to buy new o2 senors since my cel turned on with code 172, but which ones would be better bosch from autozone or should I order ntk o2's from american muslce? Also what size lug nut will I need to take the old ones off and install the new ones? I heard some where's it's 5/8, is that correct?

Bosch 13127 is what Ive read up on using. I recently purchased a set to put it actually. Get on amazon, they are about $36 a piece.

I just picked up a pair of NTKs for $35 each but I haven't installed them yet. They look quality though.

Are these the ones we need for our 94-95gt's, I know we only need two. Why is there so many different sizes?

Those are them. Some have different amounts of wires, some have the harnesses already loomed and some you have to assemble yourself.

Found them on eBay, the seller is actually Rock Auto. I like them because they have an extended wire compared to the stock replacements, and I wasn't sure that the stock length wire with the extenders was going to be enough so I wanted the O2 with a longer wire. Shipping was very fast too.

Nice I just bought the bosch o2 senors from amazon, any ideas what size o2 socket I'll need to take out the old ones and install the new ones?

go buy the proper tool for the job... there is a universal O2 sensor socket at the parts store that makes it REALLY easy to do. Oh and dont forget to put a little anti-seize on the threads before you put it back in.

I've always just used an adjustable wrench for my O2 sensors, works just fine.

Neither. Get the Ford ones. There's a How-To article with the correct part numbers.

Too late Paul, already ordered the bosch o2's but they were cheap, so it's not too bad of a deal.

If i remember right if you use a standard open end wrench it's a 3/4, or maybe a 7/8. Once of the two.

Bosch makes the ford O2 sensors.

According to Paul though the Bosch sensors produce different readings from the actual Ford sensors, or at least they did in his case.

I am going by a friend of mine that worked for Ford as a mechanic for 12 years.

Open end wrench will definetly work, but I guess I just like having the proper tool for crap like that.
