Which to get: Exhaust or suspension?

Well, I need a new goal to save for and Im not sure which one to get first. They both cost roughly the same and I want both an equal amount. I have a stock suspension on the car now, LCA bushings are shot to nothing and Im going to the strip around june 3rd, but I will have both done by then. My plan is to get Tokico Blue shocks/struts, MM LCAs, and FRPP C springs. And for exhaust, I have completely stock ford catback with cats still in(original ones to be exact). My plan is to get a 2.5" X-pipe w/cats with a Magnaflow catback system. My decision, which one should I get first?

Which does your car need? Since your things are shot, maybe I'd do the suspension! I feel like the exhaust is more of a want than a need. I know you'll prob do both anyhow, I'll say suspension is sounds like you need. That's what I would do, I think.

Haha, only thing really shot on the suspension is the LCAs, although struts are factory original still :p. I want to get rid of that 4x4 look a little too, I just found out today when looking at the rear springs that when my dad replaced them back when my brother owned the car, he never put the ISOs back on the rear springs. I always wondered why the front sat higher than the rear....

i will do suspension, you will have more fun with it over the exhaust.

Get subframe connectors.

There is no real gain from exhaust at this point.

You will gain better results with suspension than you will with exhaust. Why the C springs and not pro-kit?

Make sure you do the Ford Racing upper control arms also.

I'm still rocking my stock stocks & struts! I can't make up my mind on that either!! I want to Air-Ride it!! Damn, that's a lot of $ though. Be worth it in the end though.

I know that the subframe connectors strengthen everything up, but is it worth it on a DD? This car will never see over 300rwhp... Also is it worth it to do the UCA as well? Mine aren't that bad and they are a bitch to change out...

I say no on the subframe connectors. First get cobra headlights, then suspension, then exhaust. Then after your motor farts its last breath... rip it out and make a 347 out of it... then you can run 11's all motor... Just kidding... but really you could do it in the future.

Suspenion yes!!! just do lower control arms... upper control arms will only cause you binding. Now, don't lower your car too much, no more than an inch and one half will be sufficient... especially on a daily driver.

yes Javi, upper control arms are so easy to change out... I mean especially when you've dropped the axle.

^^ Thus why I am getting the C springs, they are like an inch drop, which is a little less than the pro kit. As for cobra headlights, you mean my fogs, right? I have been meaning to get smoked headlights and getting those cobra fogs, but I always get sidetracked with other things. FYI, Im building up a 302 this summer to drop in hopefully by next summer.

If you do uppers, dont unbolt lowers, quadshock or shock, just focus on the upper it takes about 10 mins. to do each side.

Make sure you spray some lubricant on every bolt with days in advanced.

Or as all the new kids are saying QFT ( Quoted for Truth)

I would def do all the suspension you can. Def get the Full Length Subframe and also ther Chassis brace. Some call it a TorqueBrace.

I know that Subframe connectors need to be welded in, Im going to ask my future brother-in-law if he knows how to weld them in(he is a journeyman). So My list is: MM Subframe connectors(standard length), MM LCAs, Tokico Blues, FRPP C springs, ??? UCAs(not sure on brand yet). Probably going to go over $1000 when all is said and done but hey, Im young and have a big income and nothing better to spend it on yet :).

Only use FRPP UCA's no other.

Ohh and just a suggestion find some Bilsteins struts off a termy, i have them and they are the best, i didnt pay more than $130 shipped.

Shocks wont work as they are rated for IRS and irs is 130lbs (approximately) heavier than SRA.
