Which wires are which on the dimmer switch?

Searched with no lunck

Anyone have/ know which wires do which on on the actual dimmer conection plug?

Need switched power, constant ground and dimmer voltage output (for gauges)

do you have a haynes manual? there are wiring diagrams in the back. I'm not sure if it will be detailed enough for the HL/dimmer sw.

Well Black is ground and Yellow is power. Red is your 12 volt acc line. Which deck did you buy cause if its Alpine, from my experience, hooking up the dimmer switch is pointless.

Thanks a ton. I had already gotten it figured out using a multimeter. However I was having trouble due to the battery kept dying ( less than a year old)

Looks like the alternator is toast.......... So either spend $179 now to drive the car for maybe a month, then start installing the eaton swap. Or I can start it now........
