Damn your SFCs are rusty, lol.
I'm the only one that ever sees them so I don't get too worried about it.
All the attention is in the motor and bodywork, haha
Haha, so far, yeah.
Would have never noticed this myself, but damn they are.

I didn't know you still had stock rear control arms either.
Yeah, the whole ass end is stock except for the gears, springs, and shocks. The rear suspension is next up on the list.

Not the best idea in the long run.

Not a damn thing to update but I thought I'd share this. A little late to post but Christmas day ended up getting to like 50*, sunny, and absolutely no salt on the roads, so I drove the Mustang to my girlfriend's place for the party. Then her cousin shows up in his Miata with the hardtop off.

Waiting at Discount Tire for new fronts. My Riken Raptors I had on the front since I've owned it have finally worn basically down to the belts. I decided with Falken Pro G4's after talking to a fellow SN95 enthusiast working here and he said he likes them as he just put them on his old man's car. The price was more towards what I was looking for in a front tire price range also.

EDIT: Also, going from a 275/40/17 to a 245/40/17. This should make a huge difference in rubbing in tight turns and give me a little more low.

Local season closer Mustang cruise tomorrow so I got it all cleaned up for that. Also cleaned up the truck and detailed the interior for the first time this year. Longest I've ever gone without cleaning the inside of a vehicle.

That shine

Been skimming over some of this looking for an answer and decided it needed a bump too. The question though is where is your IAT sensor? I've never looked at an Anderson power pipe up close, does it move the sensor inside the fender well along with the maf? I'm trying to figure out what to do with my sensor after the Scott Rod panels. Having one wire come thru the fender for a sensor ain't happening, and I don't really like the idea of extending it and running it under the frame rail either.

I haven't meant to ignore this. I work 10hrs/day and go to night class, so my day goes from 5am to 10:30pm everyday. Along with the process of buying a house from a jackass of a seller, I've been busy.

I had a whole thing typed out just now but then I remembered - It's just sitting in the open, zip-tied to the intake pipe if I remember right. I'll double check for you since I can't remember if I ended up doing something with it or not.

For anyone interested, threw a 6" Rough Country kit on a buddy's truck this last weekend. If it doesn't quite look like 6" it's because he already had a couple inches in spacers and whatnot. Also, it's a 2WD.

Why lift on a 2wd...

Your truck looks beast now! It's cool, but I really liked it before. :( Really nice wheel/tire combo and perfect height though!

Needs more lights.

Tha trap house.

That's what I tell him. You haven't even seen it lit up though, it got them on all four sides. I thought it was a little much until we went tacking through a swamp. He lit up everything on all four sides and all I had was my headlights.

I thought the same thing but in all reality, he makes it through ALMOST everything I do. Granted, we don't have full-blown mud pits around here but still, it does surprisingly well for a 2WD. Also, that's what he's got and he figures have fun with it. I didn't get it at first but I'm coming around to the idea. The truck is paid off, might as well do what you want to it. he's also usually with me when we go off-roading so if worse came to worse I could pull him out.

I know, I liked it before, but it's just male instinct - go faster, go lower, go higher, etc. I'm used to it now though and it actually seems stock height to me. The sad part is that with 9" total lift and 37s, my hood height barely different than a 2017 1ton Dodge Ram.

So the latest choice of fun/project/money pit - I bought an 04 gixxer 600. I had a '94 Ninja 900 way back when I was young, dumb, and full of cum. I really missed being on two wheels so I started searching around and found this. '04 Suzuki GSX-R 600. Honestly this 600 feels just as fast as my 900 but given the fact that there's a 10yr manufacture gap along with an 8yr memory gap, I might be wrong. Either way, I've been having a blast on it and as anyone (at least on sn95forums) knows, I can't leave anything alone without modifying it. So here begins the gixxer section of Whippy's Fun House.

I stopped by the old man's house on the way home from picking it up.

Lay off my boots. I wore my nice, going-out boots not thinking I'd be riding it home since I wasn't completely sure I was buying it.

I rode it for a day and started tearing into it. Full tune up, coolant flush, and sprocket/chain change.

Then I picked up a cheap-o VooDoo pipe off eBay. Normally a $300 pipe I picked up for $100. It was a little ugly so I cleaned it up at work on a Saturday morning. Besides, as some of you know, I never liked the full-exhaust look on a vehicle.

I also found out during the oil change that the drain plug was stripped out, to the point that it was grabbing on like a single thread. So I drilled/tapped it out to a 5/8-11 and made my own Tyler-special drain plug.
