how many miles does your car have?
I suggest getting a PCV filter, suggesting the PCV was a good idea... Check your intake tube (between the MAF and REAR pipe) if there is oil in there, I suggest getting a PCV filter for the drivers side valve cover to intake pipe side of the PCV system.
THey are $70 from steeda, $20 from Jegs.... I got the steeda one... and wish i got the jegs one... lol.
anyways, if your car has high mileage, I suggest Mobile 1 Clean 7500 10w30 (summer) 5w30 (winter). Clean 7500 is a SYNTHETIC BLEND. This means it is part synthetic motor oil (meaning synthisised from conventional oil) and conventional motor oil) The synthetic part of the formula will give you the longest oil life and best lubrication, while the conventional oil will help prevent oil from leaking into your cylinder.
The conventional oil molecules are larger than synthetic, which prevents it from getting past gaskets, seals, and rings. A good example is durring a downshift, your vacuum system cant handle the pull, so it puts excess vacuum stress on the gaskets and whatnot.
i also suggest not using additives, such as lucus oil stabilizer and whatnot. your owners manual says not to, anyways.
I throw on a PCV filter (or 2), switch oils, and maybe run upper cylinder cleaner through it (such as sea foam) see if that helps.
