First shop apparently did a terrible balance job and I took it to discount tire to have it redone.

Got home and cleaned them up some. They’re not perfect but they’re light. All I’m really concerned with at the moment.

Stood back and decided the lug nuts were awful so I swapped those out too.

Much better, definitely! Next: “drop that bitch down some, son”!

Why does dropping a 4x4 sound like an oxymoron to me? Oh, I know… because, never owning a 4x4 myself, I never knew or would have expected you could get those numbers! I always just “ass-umed” 4H & 4L were for off-road grunt conditions, not speed. So, do you put it in 4H to get your quickest times? Which now makes sense because it essentially makes it an AWD. Duh, Daryl! LOL

Yeah man. That is why you have seen these big heavy diesel trucks hauling ass at the strip. Lots of power and launched in 4h from a dig

Decided to even trade my 15-20 Platinum 20’s for a set of 21-23 XLT/Lariat Sport 20’s.

Why? Easy. I’d been thinking of powder coating the polished wheels a darker color to kill the bling and the XLT wheels are already a subdued color.
