Who needs an alternator relocation bracket?

I made a few last night. One pictured was the 1st pc engineered and has a few goofs. Bracket is ment to be universal for 4.6l and 5.4l.

Thats one reason for relocating the alt! Another is front entry intake while still having a stock hood.

The alternator factory location is the worst spot.

I had to flip mine backwards to make room to put a Terminator in a Marauder, they work any way you spin them. It was sitting out like a Vortech running off the normal primary belt. Some people do it to add more than one alternator for big sound systems and rolling ham radio stations.

My alternator would definitly be going down there if you didnt have to delete A/C. Saw one other company that makes a kit

Other companies do make kits, but are over priced. Ive got some 4.6l/5.4l 2v brackets made and looking like $25ea....something like $30-$35 shipped.

4v 4.6l/5.4l brackets still in development.

Relocating the alt in this location cancels using the hydroboost because of how the belt routes to original alt location then down to the a/c pump location.

However, the positive side is this bracket utilizes the stock alt, opening up a big area in front of the intake.

The negative is only waterpump, crank, alt, and tentioner can be used unless a reverse waterpump can be used (modular design may not be able to) or a idler pulley in around original alt location is used

Anyone ever use 4v alt and brackets for 2v? Would it bolt up? Same reason as Blak, make a center intake with stock hood.
