I have H&R springs (the black ones) and comparing pics to ones in the spring thread, my car sits pretty high. What gives?

The front upper iso bushings are removed too.

you have H&R race spings... it sits the way it should with those springs. You want lower, go to the SS.

What suspesnsion mods do you have?
Besides the H&R's, I have Tokico 5-ways, and Hotchkis LCA's....thats it, well and a Steeda sway bar, but that wouldnt effect height.

Im trying to avoid buying another set of springs the best I can, just because theres other places Id like to put that money. Would removing the rest of the bushings be a wise move?

cut off a coil all the way around.

No....don't do that.

I did that with my last car and the ride was 10 times worse. Come to find out, I talked to my buddy who works for Maximum Motorsports..he said that is the worse thing I could ever do.

It works for me, and my car rode just fine. I just cut off a dead coil. There is a difference in cutting the coils off a progressive rate spring and a linear spring.

Yeah there's a huge difference between cutting dead coils and cutting the progressive rate coils. The dead coils are just to fill the space so cutting them won't change ride quality.

what size tire do you have?
255/45 and 315/35

How long does it usually take for springs to settle? I installed them back in like Feb I wanna say, but didnt actually start driving around with them until this past week. Maybe I should wait a little bit and hope they drop some more? :dunno:
